It has been announced that a multi-year agreement has been signed between Cryptologic Limited, the online casino software developer, and Totesport, the UK’s state-owned bookmaker. The deal will form part of a distribution agreement signed last year with Orbis Technology. Cryptologic now has twenty-three licensees.
A minimum of 6 of Cryptologic’s slot games are to be included on the Totesport.com site in terms of the new deal. The games will be deployed through Orbis Technology and will go live towards the third quarter of 2009.
“Totesport is one of the most respected brands in the UK betting industry and we are delighted that its customers will be able to pit their skills and enhance their enjoyment with CryptoLogic games”, said Justin Thouin, Vice president of CryptoLogic.
“With this agreement we now have consolidated our strong position in Britain’s online gaming sector with a goal to return to long-term growth”.
Keith Oliver, e-Gaming and Marketing Director of Totesport, said “Our agreement with CryptoLogic brings together two very trusted brands from bookmaking and gaming content. We are confident this collaboration will not only bring a new level of enjoyment for our customers but will also help to drive our ongoing expansion into online gaming”.
Earlier this month it was announced that Hull City had agreed to a substantial two-year sponsorship deal with Totesport and the betting company’s name will appear on the front of the first team home shirts.
