Knowing when to quit 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago
My friend has been working hard for the last month at card counting, and understanding the rule of thumb to card counting. He says that he would put about 20 hours a week practicing with his six deck shoes. Still it is not enough to make long term profit at the casinos. He feels that no matter how hard He tried he still loses about 500 to 700 dollars out of his monthly income of 1000 dollars. Now please he needs some advice on what to do. He feels that he might start to become addicted to the game, and just trying to break even is just starting to get him really frustrated. Even when he has a high count of plus 10 and there is only 2 decks left, He should have gotten at least a plus 5 tc, and yet the dealer is still pulling out the card he needs to beat him. like he is starting to wonder if card counting even works. Or maybe he is not cut out for blackjack.

I just gave him an outright advice...... Don't cheat! It won't do you good at all..... lol

This is known as addiction. Apart from giving suggestion to make a winning or beating the dealer, please ask your good friend to stay away from casino for some good two or three months. Let him concentrate on his job and ask him to return. He will make a win for sure.
