The New Hampshire Lottery has announced the name of the successful vendor for the implementation of a new lottery gaming system which will include the operation of online games as well as instant games management.
Greece’s Intralot S.A. was awarded the contract which will also require them to operate the online games and to manage the instant games. This is Intralot’s ninth contract win in the U.S. and will see them expand into the country’s successful lottery market.
In accordance with the agreement there will be an implementation period followed by six years of production operations followed by a further option for one four-year renewal. Intralot will be bound to operate the online games as well as instant games management, retailer network, associated gaming products and support services.
Intralot will devise a solid communications system for the lottery in order to connect more than 1,259 state-of-the art terminals and peripherals to the LOTOSTM O/S Central System. The switch-on date for the new system is July 1st 2010.
According to Richard Campbell, Chairman of the New Hampshire Lottery Commission, all their applicants went through a rigorous vetting process and it was found that Intralot scored highest during their review process for price and technology.
