Bodog Poker has announced the schedule for its second mega event, which will take place between September 28 and October 5 and will be known as Bodog Poker Open II or BPO II. The BPO I was held in March this year with six events. Then Bodog Poker had to contribute $25,000 to the Main Event to ensure that it crossed the $300,000 mark. Shawn “phatcat” Luman won the first prize of $76,280 in that event.

BPO II will offer much more. There will be 14 events with the total of the guaranteed prize pools standing at $650,000. The lowest buy-in only $16.5 whereas the highest buy-in is $500, which is for the Main Event. There will be satellites for the Main Event as well. The Main Event guarantees a prize pool of $300,000.

The interesting feature about BPO II is that there will be six Bounty events in which the Bodog Team members will participate. These are poker pros of high standing and include the likes of Jean-Robert Bellande, Evelyn Ng, David Williams and Justin Bonomo. The player who knocks out any one of them will reap an additional reward of $109 in tournament credits.
