PartyPoker is celebrating its 7th anniversary in style with an event that it has labeled as the $1,000,000 Birthday Party. This $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool tournament with a championship-style blind structure and starting stack has been scheduled for Sunday, August 10 at 12:45 p.m. ET. 

The direct buy in for the party is $600 + $40, but this is not what has to be paid. PartyPoker has started daily qualifiers for the event from July 7. Some of the qualifiers start with as low as $1 or 15 PartyPoints buy ins. In addition the top 10 in each country specific freeroll qualify for Birthday Million Special. There are other celebrations on as well. A range of new tournaments starts from August 4. PartyPoker has put in place a new set of promotions such as the Bankroll Builder.

PartyPoker is one of the largest online poker rooms in terms of number of players and revenues.
