In an effort to comply with current US legislation, the Poker Pros Network (PPN) recently announced that its PPNPoker.eu domain will be leaving the Cake Network of online poker sites and that as from midnight on Wednesday, 31st August it will no longer be accepting US player registrations.
Current players based in the United States as well as those that have registered before the separation will, however, be granted an exemption based on pre-existing agreements with PPNPoker.com and PPNPoker.eu.
It is estimated that PPNPoker.eu will be moving to a proprietary network in the fall with the unveiling of unique proprietary software and a beta introduction of exciting new features that will include live dealers and “dealers’ choice” games.
Owner, Chuck Kidd, said “We here at PPN are dedicated to improving our software, creating a safe environment for players to compete, and encouraging our pros to be available to customers at all stake levels. It’s been a lot of work, but what we are introducing later this year should turn the online poker industry on its head.”
PPNPoker team members include Neil Stewart, Stefan Mattsson, Michael “swisstard” Scheurpf, James Worth, 2010 Belgian POY Kevin “Civell” Vandersmissen and more.
PPNPoker.eu offers its players a wide selection of depositing options that includes credit cards. All funds are secured with a licensed offshore financial services company.
