Events #9 and #10 ended on Sunday June 8. Event #9 was the No Limit Hold’em Six handed and Event #10 was Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi-Low-8 or Better. Ralph (Rep) Porter won Event #9 and Farzad Rouhani won Event #10.
Both Porter and Rouhani had secured massive leads on the penultimate day of their events and were able to maintain their leading positions. These two events continued the trend of the winners at WSOP 2008 being first time bracelet winners.
The top three positions on the WSOP leader board remain unchanged with Nenad Medic, Theo Tran and David Singer in the lead. With his win in Event #9 Ralph Porter has moved to fourth place on the leader board. Farzad Rouhani has moved to the eighth place. Porter had earlier cashed in Event #6.
With over 40 events to go there are bound to be winners who have won bracelets before. The question is who will be the first one.
